1. Scope
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Vellra app and website, provided by Gojambel GmbH (“we”, “us”). By using Vellra, you agree to these terms.
2. Forecast information and no advice
Vellra displays forecasted UV Index estimates supplied by third-party APIs and data providers: currently currentuvindex.com and, when that service is unavailable, uvindexapi.com. Those providers may source or derive data from NOAA and other meteorological, model, or data sources. The WHO UV Index scale shown in Vellra is a general public-health communication scale; it is not personalised guidance or an assessment of your circumstances. Vellra does not provide medical, health, safety, or professional advice; diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition; assess skin type; estimate burn time; or determine whether UV exposure is safe for you.
3. Purchases
Vellra may offer optional one-time purchases through the Apple App Store. Apple presents the applicable price, currency, taxes, payment, refund, and billing terms before purchase. The purchase flow is subject to Apple's applicable terms. Unless a separate end-user licence agreement is presented in the App Store, use of the app is additionally governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, available atapple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. A purchase unlocks the features described at the time of purchase; it is not a subscription unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Vellra only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or use the app or its content in a way that infringes rights or interferes with the service, except where mandatory law permits this.
5. Intellectual property
Vellra, its design, software, content, and branding are owned by or licensed to Gojambel GmbH and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
6. Forecast limitations, disclaimer and liability
Forecasts are estimates, not live measurements. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, stale, interrupted, unavailable, or not updated at all times; actual UV conditions can differ materially from a forecast. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of forecast information or the WHO scale presentation. Do not rely on Vellra for medical, safety-critical, emergency, occupational, or other consequential decisions. Use your own judgment, take appropriate precautions, and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate. We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. In all other cases, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory statutory rights.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms where there is a valid reason, including a change to the app, applicable law, or Apple requirements. Changes apply prospectively. Where required by law, we will give advance notice and obtain your consent or offer an appropriate right to object. Questions can be sent to hello@vellra.app.
8. Applicable law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident outside Germany, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
